Daddy and Ryland First Home Camping Trip

Well Tasia got to spend the night at her Grandma DeWitt's house last night, so Jeff decided to have a little camping trip with Ryland, since he was sad that he couldn't have a sleepover. Instead of going somewhere, which would require a lot of work, he decided to go camping in our backyard. Ryland loved the idea. Here is Jeff setting up the tent.

Here is Ryland playing in the tent, while dad does the finishing touches to the tent. Of course you have to have an air mattress. Ryland was very excited to sleep on it. Tasia and him always love to play on them.

This is them getting the fire ready. What a good little helper Ry is. He is loving it. I think he is going to be our little pyro. He has already started a match before by himself.

What cute boys I have! They did a good job getting the fire going.

What would a home camping trip be without watching a movie. (Surf's Up, Ry's choice.)

They had a wonderful time. Ry has been talking about sleeping outside in the tent (with his dad) all day. He doesn't want us to take the tent down. Who knows maybe we will leave it up for a few days. I think Tasia will be a litte jealous that she wasn't home.

Jeff is such a good dad. How fun. I wish we could camp outside right now. We are still getting snow. That just looks like so much fun. Your blog looks way cute. And I'm so glad you are putting these pics on it. It helps me when I start to get home sick. How are you feeling? Anything different this pregnancy than the last 3? I hope not. I love wondering what this little one will look like? Tasia, Ryland and Dandin all look slightly different, so this will be interesting. I can't wait! Let me know when you find out what you're having! talk to you soon! Sara

I guess this is good practice for the Hunt boys camping trip next month!

That's my kind of camping...right by an indoor restroom and a outdoor bbq!! Can I come camp?
